Kathy Jordan is a former American professional tennis player who is a recipient of seven Grand Slam awards during her professional career. She is also the first-ever player in the history of professional tennis to defeat the world number 1 former tennis player, Christine Marie Evert, in the year 1983 when she won the match by 6-1 and 7-6 in the third round of Wimbledon.
