Cynthia Nixon’s full name is Cynthia Ellen Nixon. She was born on 9 April 1966 in Manhattan, New York to mother, Anne Elizabeth who was an actress from Chicago, and to father, Walter Elmer Nixon Jr. who was a Texan radio journalist. Unfortunately, her parents parted ways when she was only six years old, and was raised by her mother who was the moneymaker for her family.
She has stated that she was encouraged by her mother to pursue a career in acting so she was interested in acting from a young age. She often stayed away from school to devote her time to acting and to pay for her college. Besides this, she is currently 54 years old with the zodiac sign of Aries.
