Her previous boss accused her of stealing three blank company cheques.
She did in when she was alone in one of the corporate offices. The stealing was known after she tried to use one of the cheques at a local liquor store. At first, the cheque was processed but got rejected later because it showed errors on the cheque. After that the liquor store contacted the company then the company immediately notified the police.
She was arrested and claimed that her boss gave her those cheques willingly but she denied it. She was then convicted of forgery in 2006 and was sentenced to probation for four years.
Those details were found out by her sister Toni after it was revealed to them by Wendy Williams in a radio interview.
Now Towanda Braxton is out of probation and has left her legal trouble phase and is living a good life. She also filed for bankruptcy recently.
