Michael Gambon was born on 19th October of 1940 in the capital city of Ireland, Dublin. His full name is Sir Michael John Gambon, and he is the son of Mary and Edward Gambon. His father was an engineering operative, while his mother was a seamstress. He grew up in a strict Roman Catholic, and his father wanted him to be an honored knighthood.
Gambon served in the altar in St Aloysius Boys’ School, and then later, he joined Crayford Secondary School in North End. He became an engineering technician under the British engineering conglomerate Vickers Armstrong Limited and became qualified at 21.

Michael Gambon made her career debut at the age of 24 after joining the National Theatre Company. His first play performance was Othello in 1962, where he was portrayed as a second gentleman. Since then, he played small roles in other plays like Hamlet, Saint Joan, The Recruiting Officer, Andorra, The Royal Hunt of the Sun, and many others.
He later starred as Othello in the play Othello in 1968 and other plays, namely Macbeth, In Celebration, Henry VIII, and others.
