Mackenzie Davis was born to parents Lotte and John Davis on April 1, 1987, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Lotte is a graphic designer, and John Davis is a hairdresser. Her parents are the owner of hair care company AG Hair.
She completed her high school education from Collingwood School in 2005. Later, she studied at McGill University in Montreal. She studied acting from Neighbor Playhouse, located in NYC.
