Gemma Chan’s birth took place on the date of November 29, 1982, in London. She was born at the hospital named Guy’s Hospital. Her parents are Chinese, and she describes herself as a British Asian. Her father was an engineer, and her mother was a pharmacist. Chan grew up in a town named Sevenoaks in Kent. She completed her school education from Newstead Woody School for Girls. After this, she studied jurisprudence at Worcester College. After her graduation, she got a training contract at a law firm, but she decided to pursue a career as an actress.
