For his portrayal of Louis Stevens in “Even Stevens,” he won a Daytime Emmy Award. 

Shia is a great actor and has showcased his talents in many films like “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” “American Honey,” “Honey Boy,” and “The Peanut Butter Falcon” to name a few.

He made his directorial debut in 2004 with “Let’s Love-Hate.”

Shia is a part of the LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner artist trio, which is involved in public performances and various other performance art practices.

Early Life

 

Shia LaBeouf’s full name is Shia Saide LaBeouf. He was born to parents Shayna and Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf on June 11, 1986, in LA. He is their only child. Shayna is a virtual artist and his father, Jeffrey, is a Vietnam war veteran. LaBeouf was baptized and also had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. 

Life was difficult for Shia as a child as his father was a drug addict and often physically and verbally abused him. After his parents divorced, he lived with his mother in Echo Park. He graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School and also went to a performing arts school in LAUSD.

Shia LaBeouf only wanted to become an actor because his family was poor. As a kid, he used to perform as a stand-up comedian at clubs. He made his TV debut in 1998 with the role of Ethan in one episode titled Caroline in the City. In 1999, he played the role of Moe in an episode of “Jesse.” From 1999 to 2000, he appeared in many other shows like “Suddenly Susan,” “The X-Files,” and “ER,” to name a few. 

After playing the role of Louis Anthony Stevens in the American comedy “Even Stevens.” He played the position from 2000 to 2003 and appeared in a total of 65 episodes. 

In 2001, he played the role of Ronny in the TV film “Hounded.”

The same year he also appeared in an episode of “The Nightmare Room.”

He voiced Johnny McBride in an episode of “The Proud Family” in 2002.

In 2003, he played the role of Louis Stevens again for the film “The Even Stevens Movie.”

From 2007 to 2008, he hosted two episodes of SNL.

He made his film debut in 1998. That year he appeared in two films, “The Christmas Path” and “Monkey Business.”
