Early Life

Rebel was born on 2nd March 1980 in Sydney, Australia. She was raised suburbs of Parramatta by her mother, Sue, who is a professional dog handler. She went to Tara Anglican School for girls. In 1997 she got her higher school certificate being second in the state in Food Technology.

She has three siblings, two sisters, Liberty and Annaleise, and one brother, Ryot. Her great-aunt was Lillian Marie Disney, who was an ink artist at Disney Studios.

Being an incredible child in studies, her first choice for a career was mathematics. She graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2009 with two degrees, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees.

Career and Awards

While studying at the Australian Theatre for Young People, Rebel Wilson got a scholarship and moved to New York in 2003. Rebel was able to gain fame because of her works on stage. She made her first debut with Pizza, an Australian comedy TV series as Toula.

Along with the film Fat Pizza, based on the TV series named Pizza, she made her silver screen debut. After her works in Pizza, she appeared in the Australian TV series The Wedge from 2006 to 2007 as it ran only for two seasons. The same year in 2006, she also made her appearance with Monster House.
