Not only did Kye win his first race, but he also set a new record. As his talents developed and his notoriety grew, he caught the attention of some key players in the street racing world, including Justin Shearer, a.k.a. Big Chief. Justin sought the quickest man in New Orleans, and everyone pointed to Kye.
As a result, Major Chief recruited Kye Kelley, and he was ready to go against big names like Daddy Dave and others.
Rise to Prominence
Kye Kelley made his way to the reality TV series “Street Outlaws.” Kye, Daddy Dave, Big Chief, Doc, and others, wowed the public with their racing abilities. His domination made him famous and wealthy, allowing him to purchase a new automobile, “The Shocker,” a 1992 Chevy Camaro. The automobile was significantly modified, including an increased engine, two nitrous kits, and various other upgrades that made his car faster.
