Tyler Herro’s full name is Tyler Christopher Herro. He was born to parents Christopher Herro and Jennifer Herro on January 20, 2000, in Milwaukee. He has two brothers, namely, Austin Herro and Myles Herro. He was a proficient player in school, but his mother wanted him to choose something else as a profession. His father, however, was fully supportive and loved basketball. He completed his high school education from Whitnall High School, which in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

In his high school basketball career, Tyler Herro played as a shooting guard for Whitnall High School. He was in the “First Team All-State” in his senior year. Tyler had an average of 32.9 points per game. He averaged 7.4 rebounds per game, and with it, 3.6 assists and 3.3 steals per game. Tyler had over 50% shot from the floor and made 43.5% of the three-pointers Tyler took. He ended his high school career with an impressive score of more than 2000 points. 

With an impressive high school run, he was set for an excellent future in the sports and got offered many scholarships. From all the scholarship offers from various colleges, he picked the University of Wisconsin. The commitment 2as made in 2016. However, he de-committed in October of the following year. He later went on to play for the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky signed him on November 14 of 2017. Herro was the only player that played all thirty-seven games on the starting five. He scored 29 points, his highest in college against Arkansas Razorbacks. Also, They won the game 70-66. He averaged 14 points with 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Tyler made his NBA debut against Memphis Grizzlies on October 23, 2019; Miami Heat won the game with a 120-101 victory. Hero didn’t start for the fourth game but scored 29 points. The game was against the Atlanta Hawks and played on October 29; they won 112-97. Herro sustained an ankle injury and had to sit out from the Rising Stars game.
