Rachel Luttrell was born in 1971, on January 19. She was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Rachel is Veronica Makihio Shenkunde Luttrell (Mother) and Dr. William Leon Luttrell (Father).Rachel Luttrell is 55 years old as of 2026. Luttrell was born with the birth name Rachel Zawadi Luttrell.

Rachel Luttrell’s father is a well-respected professor of economics at the University of Dar Es Salaam. Rachel’s family had moved to Canada when she was only five years old. Rachel has grown up with her three sisters name Gillian Zawadi Luttrell, Amanda Zawadi Luttrell, and Erica Zawadi Luttrell. Luttrell’s mother belongs to the Washambala tribe of The Usambara Mountains, and father belongs to Bossier City, Louisiana. Her father is also a member of the critically acclaimed Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.

Talking about her educational background, she has attended the Russian Academy of Classical Ballet School to study ballet. Rachel has also studied piano at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Rachel Luttrell has started her career featuring on stage in the Canadian productions of Miss Saigon and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as the Enchantress. Rachel has also worked in stage productions like Goblin Market, Once on This Island, and Las Meninas. After that, Luttrell transferred to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Rachel has also featured as a guest on some television series.
