Eric only played nine games for the Colts that year but still managed to gain 1011 yards to finish the season with 1288.
Eric Dickerson spearheaded a late-season Colts run that helped the team to their first winning season in 10 years. He gathered 1659 yards rushing, the first Colt to lead the league in rushing since Alan Ameche in 1955. In 1992, on April 26, he was traded by the Colts to the Los Angeles Raiders for their fourth-and eighth-round picks in the 1992 draft.
