Penelope Cruz was born on 28th April of 1974 in a city called Alcobendas of Madrid in Spain. Her full name is Penelope Cruz Sanchez, and she is the daughter of a retailer and car mechanic, Eduardo Cruz, and personal manager, and a hairdresser, Encarna Sanchez. She grew up with Monica, an actress, fashion designer, and dancer, a brother named Eduardo, a singer, and Salma, a half-sister in Alcobendas.
Cruz was into ballet dancing since her early days. She aimed at becoming a professional ballet dancer and trained in Spain’s National Conservatory for 9 years. After that, she trained in Spanish ballet for 3 years and joined Cristina Rota’s school, where she spent training in theatres for 4 years.
