Early Life

Richards was born in the legendry place of Hollywood itself, the central region of Los Angeles, on 11th January 1969. Her mother was Kathleen Mary Richards, and her father was Kenneth Edwin Richards. However, they got separated in 1972 when Richards was just three years old. Later her mother married twice. Their blood, most of them entered the film industry. Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards are her half-sisters from Kathleen’s first marriage, with Lawrence Avanzino. Also, she has three other half-siblings from Kenneth’s first marriage. But they were all grown-ups when she was just born. Well known personality, Nicky and Paris Hilton are her half-nieces.

In 1974, Kyle Richards appeared in the episode of the show ‘Police Women’ as ‘Julie.’ Kyle’s first long appearance in a TV series is in the 1975 drama series, ‘Little House on the Prairie’ where she portrayed the role of ‘Alicia Sanderson Edwards.’ She was featured in 19 episodes of the series. Kyle was featured in 3 episodes of ‘Police Story’ in the year 1976. Richards’s first step in the feature film sector was in the 1976 horror film ‘Eaten Alive,’ where she portrayed the movie character ‘Angie.’ In 1977, she appeared in another horror film, ‘The Car.’

In 1994, she fell in love with real estate agent Mauricio Umansky, son of Estella Sneider, a famous personality. But the couple married two years later in 1996, and the same year they were blessed with beautiful daughter Alexia. After they have two other daughters, Sophia and Portia, born in 200 and 2008, she is currently settled in Encino, LA, with her family.

Along with her husband, she donated more than 100,000 US dollars to the hospital named Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and they were listed as First Families of the hospital. She also took part in fundraising for CHLA twice in 2013 and 2019.
