Ariel Camacho was engaged in a car accident on February 25, 2015, along with three other people, on the road leading from Angostura, Sinaloa. The singer was returning from the Carnaval de Mocorito music festival. One of the passengers was hurt in the collision, which also claimed the lives of two other people. The collision happened on the Angostura-La Reforma roadway at about two in the morning. Camacho, who was operating the car, appears to have lost control.
