Trevor Ault started his career as an instructional associate at Syracuse University. Ault served as a digital content producer for the Minnesota Vikings for a month in June 2013 for Fox Sports. In October 2013, he began working as a reporter for WTOL-TV in Toledo. In the beginning, he was hired as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and developer of interest content, and he was later promoted to morning anchor/reporter in July 2015.
