Skylar Staten Randall’s mother, Janine, was addicted to drugs for a long period. Her father was also a drug addict but went to rehab when Janine was pregnant. After rehab, Bryan got rid of his addiction, but her mother was taking heroin continuously. Finally, Janine left the world in a coma due to an overdose of heroin.

She was admitted to the hospital on December 6, 2003, was there for a month and took her last breath on January 7, 2004. Skyler lived with Janine and her husband, Michael Blankenship, a confessed addict, and heroin dealer at her death.

After the death of Janine, Skyler lived with her grandmother Pierrette Johnson, but unfortunately, she passed away on February 17, 2009. Her father Bryan lived with his long-term girlfriends in Portland and owned unpaid child support at that time.
