Early life

She was born as Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne to Henri Jérôme Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne and Valérie Schlumberger on 1st July 1985 in Passy. She has seven siblings in total. Her father is the founder of the tech company Parrot. Her mother was an actress but now works as a Philanthropist and helps African Artists in their journey.

As a child, she wanted to be an Opera Singer but later dropped the idea because of her shyness. When she chose acting as her career, she did not receive support from her family initially, even though the Seydoux family had several connections.
