Sigtryggr leads a Norse fleet headed towards Chester to Capture the fort, loses an eye in a fight with Uhtred himself, and is named the One-Eyed. At the end of Warriors of the storm, Sigtryggr was allowed to take the north only if he promised not to attack Mercia, after which he became king of Northumbria.
