Brooke Elliott is renowned as a popular face of the acting world. She is busy with a TV show, Sweet Magnolias, where she plays the character of Dana Sue Sullivan. In 1999, she was a part of the Chicago-based stage combat theatre company Babes with Blades for ten weeks. Brooke performed a scene from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Miracle Worker, and Heathers.
Brooke Elliott left for her first professional theatre character as the Sugar Bowl in the US touring version of Beaty and the Beast. She also featured a cast member in the North American tour of Wicked along with Adam Lambert, whom she later supported when he featured on American Idol.
Brooke Elliott credits Rosie O’Donnell with getting her first Broadway character alongside Boy George in Taboo. O’Donnell later described her as “fresh off a Disney Cruise” but allowed her to return for a second attempt. She spent $117 to change her outfit and make-up to be better suited to the character; Rosie recompenses Brooke when she is awarded a part in the show. Brooke went to star in the ABC comedy pilot created by Bobby Bowman about a dysfunctional family struggling with mental illness in 2018.
