Rupert Grint was born on 24th August of 1988 in the town called Harlow of Essex in England. His full name is Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint, and he is the oldest son of Joanne Grint and racing memorabilia dealer Nigel Grint. He has 4 other younger siblings, namely a brother James and 3 sisters, Georgina, Samantha, and Charlotte.
Grint started his acting career when he was just 13 years old. Before making an acting debut, his early dream was to become an ice cream man, which he eventually fulfilled after his success in Harry Potter. He used to participate in various plays and theatre performances before making his film debut in Harry Potter. He eventually dropped out of school at the age of 16 and continued his professional acting career.

Rupert Grint made his film debut in the hit film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as Ron Weasley in 2001. He stepped into fame overnight after the success of Harry Potter. In 2002, he starred in its series Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He won his first Satellite Award for Outstanding New Talent and Young Artist Awards for Most Promising Young Newcomer in 2002 for his performance in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. He also starred in the British-German-American comedy film Thunderpants as Alan A. Allen in 2002.
Rupert Grint continued making his breakthrough from the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005. He received a 2006 MTV Movie Awards nomination. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released in 2007, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in 2010, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011, which was the final ending of Harry Potter.
